Xiaomi Officially Rolled out Android 8.0 Oreo to Mi 6 Globally

Xiaomi's 2017 flagship device Mi 6 is getting a bunch of new updates. This device was launched in August 2017, came running on stock Android 7.1 Nougat. After the long wait of beta testing, the company has officially rolled out Android 8.0 Oreo to the Mi 6 device based on MIUI 9 which is Xiaomi's custom UI.

The new Android 8.0 Oreo update weighs more than 1GB and comes with many features, fixed bugs as well as optimizations. Here's the full change-log details.

How To Update Your Xiaomi Mi 6 to Android 8.0 Oreo

The update can be made via flashing the Oreo file either via fastboot or recovery mode, both of which require their own separate files. You can download your preferred file here.
